Coffee mug done!! I made one with hot chocolate too. And even though I don’t like marshmallows (neither does my daughter, actually) I put marshmallows in the hot chocolate!
Depending on how everything is lining up, you may only need to make the first 5 rnds of the beverage. I did 6 rnds for the hot chocolate in the green mug and 5 rnds for the coffee in the blue mug.
Materials
- worsted weight emerald green, dark green, dark brown, dark blue, medium blue, medium brown, white
- G-sized crochet hook
- stuffing
Mug
1) ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join with sl st (6)
2) ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st (12)
3) ch 1, *sc, 2 sc in next sc* around, join with sl st (18)
4) ch 1, *sc2, 2 sc in next sc* around, join with sl st (24)
5) ch 1, *sc3, 2 sc in next sc* around, join with sl st (30)
6) ch 1, *sc4, 2 sc in next sc* around, join with sl st (36)
7) in back loops only ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st (36)
8-17) in both loops ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st (36)
18-19) switch to second color, ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st (36)
20) switch back to first color, ch 1, sc in each sc around, join with sl st (36)
break yarn, finish off
Base and Coffee/Hot Chocolate (make 2, one out of same color as mug and one out of beverage color)
1) ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join with sl st (6)
2) ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, join with sl st (12)

Marshmallows

Handle
1) ch 3, sc in 2nd and 3rd ch from hook (2)
2-20) ch 1, turn, sc in both sc (2)
break yarn, finish off
Assembly
Sew base to bottom of mug. Stuff and sew beverage inside mug, between rows 18 and 19. Sew handle on side of mug as shown on green mug.
I love the marshmellows. It just makes it look more like it even if you don't normally have them.

I think it’s about 4″ tall.
