Athena, Goddess of Wisdom

When I first got interested in mythology, I would endlessly borrow an illustrated, storybook-style book of Greek mythology from our local library. I didn’t realize it at the time (I was just a kid) but the mythology had downplayed the roles of the goddesses. I knew Athena was the goddess of wisdom and had sprung out of Zeus’ forehead fully grown, but it wasn’t until years later that I learned she was also a goddess of war and was credited with the invention of many things- the flute, the chariot, and the plow among them.

So here she is! I originally wanted to make her with an owl, but I was worried that an owl done to scale would look more like a blob-thing with wings. All hail Athena and her blob-thing!
