Pony Dresses!

I’m really excited that they’re done, but I figured that if I put the title all in caps, that might be a bit offensive.

BUT THEY’RE DONE!

Ok. A few caveats. I am not a clothing designer. If you know of a way to shape them that will work better, PLEASE do. Secondly, the strap parts where it’s just ch, if you find that yours are too short or too long, change them. We all ch differently. And Pinkie Pie’s dress… Sigh. I didn’t have the right color of pink for the skirt, the right color of blue for the bodice, and I didn’t want to frustrate myself with trying to stripe it white and blue.

Gauge: 10 rows of sc = 2.25″
I used an F-hook and worsted weight, you may need to change this to match the gauge.

Colors:
Applejack- medium green, medium brown, red
Fluttershy- medium green, baby blue
Pinkie Pie- rose, baby blue
Rainbow Dash- white, blue, red, orange, yellow, medium green, purple
Rarity- baby pink, yellow, fuschia
Twilight Sparkle- baby blue, navy blue

You will need Velcro for these.

  1. Oh my, how adorable!! I’m definitely going to use these patterns for my granddaughter — she is such a pony lover!! She’ll be so excited to be able to dress her ponies! Thanks for posting the patterns!

    • Yay, I hope she likes them! πŸ˜€ Let me know if there are any issues with the patterns. I put them together when I was super, SUPER tired and some of it may be unclear (or wrong?)

  2. My 4 year old loves Pony Pies (as she calls them) and she’ll love these for her birthday. I can’t wait to make them. Thank you for the pattern I never would have thought of anything so great πŸ™‚

  3. I don’t understand the applejack pattern, on rows 2-3; how can 12 stitches become 9 stiches?
