Ermplane Named Big Jet

My daughter’s been asking for an “ermplane named Big Jet” for a while now. And then I’ll ask her if she wants me to make her an airplane or an elephant (for example) and she’ll say, “Ummm… Elephant!” But I finally just said, “I’m going to make you an airplane.” So here it is.

I was going to put the propeller on it, but I figured it would be kind of weird for an airplane named Big Jet to be a prop plane instead of, well, a jet. So I gave him jet engines.

Sewing on the engines is a little tricky. I just sewed the side of them to the body of the plane so that they were snugly up against the wings.

“He’s a happy little ermplane.”
