My Pal Diaper (and Binkie)

This is a pretty specific pattern. My toddler’s baby is a My Pal Violet doll, and she loves dressing poor Violet up. I figured I would make things for Violet to wear that she could take off and put on herself, because she gets very frustrated with the snaps of the onesie I found that only sort-of fits. Note that the model in these pictures is Scout. It was a lot easier getting Scout away from my son than it was getting Violet away from my daughter.

This is a little bit tricky to crochet. You start from the front and work around to the back.

  1. Since I've been pregnant I've been crocheting little things for the coming baby. My 4 yr old is always saying "what about me!!". My daughter has the Scout. She sleeps with her little dirty Scout every night. She'll be happy to wake up to this tomorrow morning:). Thanks for the cute pattern!

  2. Aww, that's awesome! 😀

  3. I make reborning babies. I just started last year, so am learning how. This pattern will help alot. We can make the diaper larger by increasing the number of stitches and rows according to the size of the doll. Also use knitting worsted yarn and H or I hooks. Bonnie Wilson
